Parliament | Suggestions / Community Art/Project Guidelines

« on: 24 October 2020, 02:17:41 PM »

Hello all,

Here are some possible guidelines for community sponsored art and projects, anything directly belonging to Villagecraft really. Please note these are not applicable to the server as a whole.

1. Any hateful speech that is directly targeted at a specific race, otherwise known as a racial slur, will not be tolerated.
2. Any hateful speech that is directly targeted at specific religions, will not be tolerated.
3. Any hateful speech that is directly targeted at transgenders or LGBTQ+ will not be tolerated.
4. Any hateful speech that directly symbolizes any of the aforementioned rules is also not allowed.

Please feel free to make suggestions about these rules. If you have some you'd like to add or if you want more clarity in the wording, or if you disagree with a given rule. Should we come to a general consensus on these rules, then they will be moved to a parliament vote. Also, to restate, these will only apply to community art or property directly owned by Villagecraft.

I look forward to your feedback!

Parliament | Suggestions / PARLIAMENT VOTE #18 - ADDING PHANTOMS TO MOB PROTECTION

« on: 24 November 2019, 06:15:42 PM »

NOTICE: To Register for Parliament, post a reply to the thread in this link: http://www.villagecraft-server.com/forum/index.php?topic=22.0

-------
PARLIAMENT VOTE #18
Add phantoms to mob projection

If 'yes' has majority, phantoms can be added to mob protection.
If 'no', the current rules will remain unchanged.

All Members of Parliament may vote.
For the act to pass, a majority of voting MPs must vote in favour.
The poll will run for approximately 4 days, unless there is a clear victor or an ongoing debate, in which case it may be extended or shortened.

Original post:

Bothered by all those pesky phantoms that just don't go away (even though you're pretty sure you just slept last night)? Well now your chance to get rid of them in your villages! Vote away!

3 options are
1. No, keep mob protection the way it is
2. Add a second tier (dollar amount tbd) in order to protect villages against phantoms
3. Add phantom protection to all villages that already have mob protection

sauce them babies into a poll luisbb

Rules | Info | Support / Shulker Box Glitch

« on: 10 September 2019, 01:30:16 AM »

Hello all!

While Cyphur and I were playing last night, September 9th, about 11PM US Eastern time, he gave me a shulker box, and upon placing it in my village, I opened it and it was empty, despite it saying its contents in my inventory and Cyphur assuring me there were items in there. We then tried it in the wild, and the same thing happened. Also, it was duping the boxes left and right for some reason, so I put all the dupes in a chest in my village and they are awaiting staff collection. I'd also like to note, Cyphur channeled his inner Luis and determined that it wasn't a player connection issue, it was a server issue (or something like that, he's the genius.) I just wanted to let staff know, as I don't know if this has been an ongoing issue, or if this is simply an isolated incident. Thank yall!

General Discussion / Village Claim

« on: 4 September 2019, 02:00:37 AM »

Hello all!

My name is saxturian and I spent a lot of time in the server in the past. I recently returned after getting a laptop after my computer was broken for quite some time. I returned to find Anville had been claimed (fair and square, I might add) by a player named RagsDeeBoo. I had talked to several staff about reclaiming Anville, only to find he was on a list where his possessions shan't be touched. However, I got multiple opinions saying that I will not be getting it back, and some saying that he has been inactive for some time with no clear sign of return, and I should be able to get it back. I was then told to make a forum post to get a more definitive answer. So here I am! If I can get Anville back, that's great! If not, I understand completely. Thank you for your time and consideration!

General Discussion / Request: staff members please read

« on: 22 August 2014, 12:37:40 AM »

Hello, a friend of mine named Mason9468 has went inactive recently. I request his lockettes and whatnot in the villages Anville and Masonville be left alone. I am an owner of both towns and I would really appreciate it if those lockettes were left alone. Any lockettes outside of these villages are fair game, as I can do nothing to protect those. So, to repeat just for the hell of it, please do not open Mason9468's lockettres in Anville and Masonville. Anywhere else, go for it. Please and thank you. Thanks for reading. See how I used the colors and shit? Yeah, swag.
