Are those graphics (charts) live or are they just an example of how things stand? If live do you think you could add them to that status page?
Not even played with 1.13 yet due to processing lag (awaitning optifine) but 1.14 sounds great! I wonder if they'll ever sort vertical slabs or stairs. The scaffolding will be great. Without fly, building by town erm village has been a scary time haha

Hi all,
As per a recent conversation, I thought I would bump this post as we obviously need to get more players and, to me, this seems a good incentive for new or past players. Items would not need to stick as ench items, specially with 1.13, eggs for example could be offered in the shop.
I would also like to take this opportunity to ask what peoples views are on MCMMO being introduced (if possible) for professions wood cutting, mining, acrobatics, etc? It would surely give players something else to strive for?
Finally I wonder also on views for the (or similar) plugin called Slimefun? Again it add's that little bit more that players can play around with?

Sounds like a great idea! Will make our server that little more unique!
I presume if one wanted to, they could always override the server and use ones own? (I like to use Conquest Texture pack to test the look of my village, as it ultimately is built with this in mind, though is sometimes heavy on my old machine so i do not use it all the time).

How long is one barred for Command spamming? I was claiming my vr rewards (obviously to fast) and got kicked. I've been on all day trying to get my castle finished and it's most annoying that I am barred?

I suspect it's nothing but a false negative, but thought to let you know.

The more I read the more I see this as such a massive update. I am sure, excited though we are, that we'd prefer a stable play experience that a mismatch of play and errors, crashes etc.
Many thanks for letting us know of the sort of timescale we'll be looking at and all the hard work being put in behind the scenes. We always have SP to play around with until then, it'll give us a chance to delved into it safely.

I believe the tokens can be given out via an automated system (voting) or by staff members for what ever reasons. Competitions, praise for builds, etc.
The bonus with the tokens is it it gives the supporter of the server, a personal choice of some thing useful instead of random things that might not be needed.
Example I am needing to mine out a large area of a mountain for a dwarven fortress, access to enchanted pickaxes with eff IV and unbreak IV or if i wanted to use this for the outside of the fortress add silk touch, would be a god send specially if all it meant was to vote for the server.
Some might say this might take away the need to personally learn enchanting, however the 'store' would only sell essential things and not rare or fun things that need to be won by personal experience to enjoy.
A side note would be, if this ever went though, not to bringing the tokens into the donation area as this puts players off under the 'pay to win' umbrella.
As i said previously, no matter what i will vote almost daily, but we all know that this is not the fact others. I do think more people (old and new) would vote if they thought they could do something with it.
Anyway, it's late and i think i'll leave it there before i push my luck

In short this is the plug in (or similar if you wish)

The idea is every time you vote you get (in addition to any rewards you would still like to give) a token per vote. These tokens would be spent in the above virtual shop. The shop could hold enchanted tools & weapons, eggs, special blocks, etc etc
With all due respect to the great work done to this server, the current rewards do not seem any incentive (diamonds are about all that are useful and they are very few).
Don't get me wrong I would and do vote no matter the reward. I have just noticed how very quiet, support for the server in this way is, and thought this might get people going for it.

Not sure if I've been with VC for long enough for my opinion to count but here it is all the same. I personally think i have quite an open mind, I have friends that are shall we say more open with the ways of the world with their kids than I would be (my daughter is 13). However I would think even they, if they read this, would be thinking way past the banning and just wondering how big of a hole would be needed to bury him!
I don't care if it was said in humour, this sort of things does not belong here. We have a responsibility to the community, that if we allow minors in, we respect that fact and act accordingly. As I said before, we all have different views on how 'mature' a kids can handle things, specially with music and TV the way it is, but there are places that even adult to adult should think seriously before going there!
If it's not going to be a perm ban, then no less than 2 months would be my vote. A so hope his views change by then.

I certainly would not want to lose any of players, hard earned, works of art. So would it be possible to keep, as suggested, 200K around the spawn (would that encompass my town ) and out from that, new land? Warps created would all that would be needed. It seems a shame not to have access to what seems to me as quite a kool update (visually at least).

I would only say yes BUT only if we had the option to have our villages copy/pasted into the new map. Without offence, player count is down at the moment so i suppose that means not many villages needing transfer (if they indeed want it).
Me personally have spent so very much time solo building my village and am on almost daily. it would break my heart to have it wasted

Could certainly do with some advertising somewhere for sure. I'm not the best communicator as I zone out when building but it is rather quiet recently. Maybe with the summer holidays round the corner, things will pick up some.
Maybe if more people voted and do we have a FB page? or is that more work than wanted?
some new plugins might entice people? not the full monty like FTB but something that might get people interested in building or even adding to their current village (something like MCMMO or Slimefun?)
Saying all that I still think the server is great!
