Title: Jail?

I have heard alot of stories that Villagecraft has a jail.  I have a few questions about the jail.

1. Where is the jail?
2. Can I visit the jail?
3. How can you get jailed?
4. Can I visit prisoners?
5. Can I request to be jailed and can I say when I want out?

Most servers have a jail. Rule breakers get jailed there. The normal jail is in Qualia and it only has a few cells. There is a big penitentiary in Manhattan and it has a visit room and shit.

There are more than one, the two main ones are in Qualia's Government building and the mega-prison in Manhattan.

2. Can I visit the jail?
Yeah, I guess so, the Manhattan one is way more interesting than the Qualia one.

3. How can you get jailed?
Often when staff/PRs need to talk to someone without tempbanning them. Let's say we find someone is an xrayer (which is fairly easy, btw) and they are offline. We jail them to talk to them.

4. Can I visit prisoners?
Uh... sure?

5. Can I request to be jailed and can I say when I want out?
Yes, and no. :)

For question number 5 if I say to Ako "hey can I see what it is like being a prisoner?" and you say yes when I'm done acting like a prisoner can I come out when I want?

Basically when you are prisoner you're stuck in a cell in the jail and can't use commands. It's not that exciting and we don't jail people just so they can experience it. It's not a cool thing--you don't want to be put in jail!

I did that to Sax once and Runey yelled at me because then Sax set his /home bed there >_>
So I'm inclined to say no.

Jail is not somewhere you want to be. It serves a function to allow mods to protect players who follow the rules, it's not for playing with. :)

That being said, you can always make a 'play jail' in your village. It will not have the teleport or command deny aspects, but it can give you the jail experience and would probably be a cool addition to a town. :)
