Title: Charity
Post by: Die_Endermen on 26 February 2013, 07:45:31 PM: Hello everyone. I am going to start a charity on this server. I haven't named it yet, but here are some details.
This charity will be for new players, to provide them with resources and supplies to start off their journey into VillageCraft. It will be free for new players for a week, and then will cost $200 per week to stay in. The whole purpose is to donate to them, so they can build villages, and we can build safe housing for the less fortunate on here :). Also, to start it off, there will be a mining event to raise money for the cobblestone we sell for supplies and food. This will be today, and tomorrow 6 PM EST- 8:30 PM EST, along with all day long on Thursday and Friday. Please contact me if you would like to join, and our goal is to reach $6,000 by the end of Friday!

The most obvious point though is- why not just give new players a few things to help them? It is more useful than giving them money.

Plus this "free money" thing will attract moochers like flies.
