It's only 10:30PM here and Kovos and I are preparing to go to bed. We have to get up and be awake and ready to leave at 4:30AM to be at John Hopkin's by 6AM for my surgery at 7:30. I'm pretty freaked out, so wish me luck :)

You will rock that surgery. Remember to breathe calmly to help calm yourself down. All my luck to you tomorrow. :)

Well I hope you have a fast, easy recovery and I hope it goes well
-
Good luck for the surgery and hope you make a quick recovery!
-
The BEST of luck to you! I hope it went/has gone well, and that you recover insanely fast!

Thank you every one for the well wishes (and Jan for texting me <3 )
The surgery, according to the surgeon, went well. Apparently, and I was never informed about this, they lengthened the calf muscle, and instead of removing part of my heel bone, they pushed it to the side and I have a 3.5 inch screw holding it in place. Mother effer, it just sounds painful.
Luckily for me, they have a full pain-blocker in place for the 24 hours following the surgery. I literally can't even feel my toes right now.
My cast is huge.

It feels like a small child clinging to my leg.
They gave me oxycodone for the pain that's coming, and I've been out for most of the day while Kovos sits at my desk and plays Binding of Isaac.
I will be bedridden completely, except for "quick" bathroom breaks (which is like a 10 minute procedure when I'm on crutches) until May 28th when my follow-up appointment with my surgeon is. Ugh.

Sounds painful! :P I had 2 pins in my arm once, so drugged up.. Glad you're feeling somewhat ok, and hope you'll still be fine when the painkillers wear off. If you're bedridden, all the more time to play minecraft :D Cya online!

I hope you feel better soon! Have the best recovery. :). Oh and PS, I like your nails, what color did you do them?
-
Great to hear the surgery went well! :D
oxycodone...lucky! They gave you the good shit.

oxycodone...lucky! They gave you the good shit.
that sad moment where this morning when I took it at 6:20, it barely took the edge off of the pain I'm feeling.
Seriously. I'm dizzy as eff from the medicine but it's taking all of my will-power to scream from the pain.
This sucks.

You guys are sick XD It says "Big Dawg." I've had that poster since I was like, 10.
Thanks for all the well wishes everyone. Today is a lot better than yesterday was. It's gotten better to the point I may skip my next dose of oxy if I don't need it since it makes me dizzy and somewhat nauseous.
My only complaint now is the fact that I get random leg spasms that send an entire jolt of pain through my body. There's nothing I can do about them since they only happen for about 3 seconds, but it leaves me cringing/screaming from pain for a good 5-10 minutes. Mom's going to call the doc and see if they can prescribe some muscle relaxers, since they operated on the muscle that runs from my knee cap to my toes and that shouldn't be moving right now.
Anyway, thanks so much guys, I appreciate all the concern :)
