I haven't a clue, I'm a bit of a tech idiot with things like that.
I'm on a Toshiba computer with Windows 7, is that OS? Jesus, I have no clue.
Sorry  :P

My obviously warped, twisted idea of a joke.

Thanks for the offer of help.

LOOOOOOL.

OK, but seriously, you need to go into your files and drag everything into the recycle bin. That should help, will just delete shit.

Why don't you delete your account from here? Deleting shit works only when there's not enough memory.

Windows 7... Firstly by all software I assume you ment all unnecessary software, or else Windows would count (Improvement to with it I suppose)

To remove viruses, just run a virus scan and it will ask you if you want to keep the virus, or delete it.

Otherwise, software such as program's can be deleted in start -> control panel -> program's -> uninstall a program. Then pick the one you want to remove from the list and click uninstall.

2 ways right here
1.just delete it
2.the longer way of it. find the programs.(type the name of them)  delete them all.
that is 2 ways
now a 3rd way break your computer, bury it , then say your family has been robbed

A simple trick to get rid of files that you think you deleted but haven't actually gone or just can't get rid of is to delete System32. System32 is a program that holds a record of your browser history, all your deleted bookmarks and all your deleted programs. Its where your recycling bin would go if you tried to delete it. Just go into start and go to my computer, then search for "system32" and WAIT FOR EVERYTHING TO LOAD! Then simply select it and delete it. Make sure you delete all of it or your computer will become very slow because its searching for files that don't exist, but if you get rid of all of it then it won't even try to find those files because the programs that searched for them won't exist. Basically if you delete System32 then your computer will run much faster and will also have more room to store things. Because when you delete things, they aren't actually deleted for 6 months because microsoft have to keep a record of such things to make sure your not doing anything illegal or being a terrorist. Deleting System32 will also get rid of a lot of viruses because thats where virus coders like to hide them since most people don't know what system32 is. Hope this helps you with all your computer problems Mossy! have fun with your new faster PC after this.

Akomine's 2nd edit:
You have been banned from the forum for 21 days for posting this, and then removing my edit that covered this bullshit up. You know damn well we are dealing with people who are not tech savvy, and you are giving dangerous fake advice. For being an asshole and ignoring my edit, you can fuck off for 21 days.

By "completely clean" do you mean you want to wipe everything off and start anew? With a fresh installation of Windows and nothing else?
I can help you do that, if that is what you want to do.

I think a factory reset would restore it back to how it was when you bought it.

It clears viruses very effectively.

Do a full scan, and don't do the full trial version for 30 days (not worth it).

Also, for a good free antivirus, check out AVG Free 2013:

Both of these are decent suggestions - just make sure you have removed all other virus software before you get AVG, especially Norton and McAfee, as they will conflict and can really screw with your computer. I used to use AVG free (and generally liked it), and after switching to Microsoft Security Essentials, I can't help but say it is better. You get the full version 100% free; there literally is no payed-for version. It's an excellent program too.

Malwarebytes is a malware cleaner and is not a regular virus program, and as such can be kept on your computer with regular anti-virus software (AVG, MSE, etc) installed, and used from time to time as you desire. It's also a good program.

I got a program called BullGuard, know if it's any good?

I have been working on clearing my computer of stuff I don't need. Right click a program shortcut (on desktop), press delete. A window will pop up saying deleting it won't get rid of it and to go to programs and features to uninstall it. If it doesn't say this, try a different shortcut. Then when you get to programs and features delete what you want but,
DO NOT UNINSTALL EVERYTHING!
There is important things you need, like the pointing device on my laptop (for the finger-touchy-thingy mouse controller) Without that, my computer wouldn't be usable.
Hope this helps!
