Here is how to fix that problem: no one cares and so should you.

I don't mean that to be rude, don't worry about it and as long as you aren't a douche there is no problem. No one really cares unless you are being a dick, and they will let you know if you are  :)

You're a decent guy, just don't constantly ask admins if you can be a mod.
