Title: IRON GOLEM FARMS. (illegal to be illegal ! :o)
Post by: pegapega_ on 9 September 2013, 10:11:53 AM: So today I was talking to someone and I told them they should build a iron golem farm! Great idea right? Before I get too worked up, is it true that iron golem farms are illegal?

ILLEGAL?: This is wrong this is suppose to be free build not "build what I say." This is wrong and should be stopped. Anyway $6 is a reasonable selling price and if you have 64 woot woot? Sell them. Well iron golem farms should be allowed. We should vote on this. Or have we already? (I recently just joined the fourms a couple of weeks ago and I don't know.)

LEGAL!: Woot woot! This means it's really free build!

This isn't a free build server, it's a survival server. Iron golem farms are not allowed as they remove an aspect of the survival game- iron being annoying to get.

This isn't supposed to be like real life, it's supposed to be like a Minecraft survival server. People don't do whatever they want in the real world, everything has a cost- beef requires a huge amount of land and water, bio-oil requires land that could otherwise be used to grow food, fast food is cheap because the workers get poorly paid, hand made goods are expensive due to the care and time taken, mass produced goods are cheap because of the lack of care and time taken.

Or I guess using your own argument against you- do it like in real life and mine the iron yourself.

EDUCATE YOURSELF, FOOL! In addition, until you own and operate the server, expect that every time you demand a specific change just because it is what you want, that you get a nice communal fuck you. this hasnt been working since 1.6 so dont worry about it

Making one giant one is painful thats why I haven't built one yet. You actually work for it but the Golem is so easy and it pays more.

Theres actually work put into a farm(s), and it has to grow. I have one and it takes a while to get 6750 (single chest full) ppl have auto ones theres still alot of money put into it

Farming isn't comparable to an infinite iron generator. It took shit tons of time to make my farm and shit tons of time for it to grow to even get $1500 in crops.
