Title: Hey artists?
Post by: luisc99 on 21 September 2013, 01:28:55 PM
I am a terrible artist. Anyone who knows me IRL chaos will know this. However, I've tried to have a go at drawing a cartoon for a new profile pic, and was wondering if anyone could give me any tips on how I could make it any better, or more professional. I was trying to aim for the more "simplistic and cute" style, but I'm not sure if I've done it right...

John Kricfalusi is a famous cartoonist who has a bunch of guides on how to get better at cartoon animation, you should look it up.

Try the book "how to draw the marvel way" and the video by stan lee with I think the same name. They are helpful on how to draw cartoon characters with consistency and a beautiful style.

I edited it a little, messing up the edges. I'm no artist either, but I tried :p Hope it helps.
