Title: A message to young people
Post by: ShadowNotice on 1 November 2016, 06:01:18 PM
To all you kids out there who blame everything on your cousin/ brother.
You only have yourself to blame.
We don't buy it.
What happens on your account is your responsibility, no matter the perpetrator.
If someone else is getting on your account, change your password.
Grow up and take some responsibility.
Not all young people do this, but those of you who do, you know who you are.

I think it's just about people who say their brother or whatever went on their account to grief. The title is a bit edgy tho.

I mean not to trigger you. It's just that these people tend to be like 9 or 10. I don't mean young people as in like under 20.

To our younger staff people (and I'm not talking about just one): The real world doesn't have patience for this kind of behavior. The kind of bickering and petty fighting (especially racist homophobic or misogynist remarks) that take place in private chat, whether on steam or while other staff people are offline, does not fly in real life.

You get fired from jobs in real life. Getting fired follows you for 5 years in the real world.

We're staff people; we should strive for exemplary behavior.

Why do you need to generalize young people?

I'm not trying to generalize young people as the people that do this. I'm generalizing the people that do this as young people. I also said that they knew who they were. If you not that's not you, you have nothing to worry about.  ;D

What does this even mean?

Is there a God of Employment or something? Does said god keep a file on everyone with a big red stamp that says "FIRED"? Do employers get access to these files? Does the god burn them after 5 years? So many questions.

I've tried my best to google this weird statement (which seems like fear-mongering), but I can't find anything backing it up.

Also all young people are evil.
