I would first like to start off by apologizing for my behavior on my previous appeal. In addition, I understand how this was viewed maliciously, but I still insist that my intentions were jokingly and not to cause any harm. I didn't know this was strictly against the rules. I have already sent an apology to Mali and Kalina. I promise not to send any more bad links or "disgusting" images over Villagecraft, Discord, or anywhere else. I also know that my last ban appeal was very informal and rude, but I honestly didn't think that this was such a big matter. I now know that you guys are pretty serious about this. I just thought Mali was mature and old enough to see this seeing as she has been on VillageCraft since she was eleven. I honestly thought that she wouldn't react this way. I also know she is most likely very mad at me, and I can't stress enough how sorry I am for my behavior. I hope you all will forgive me, if not that's alright.

I'm not mad at you. I know it was intended to be a joke, albeit a very horrible one. Also, I don't know what you mean by "react this way" because I haven't replied to your previous joke appeal and I never asked for you to be banned. Against an unban. You're a smug and rude and think you're above everyone else, and can't use common sense. Especially considering we even took extra steps in giving you chances (it was just a temp ban until you came on forums throwing a tantrum like a 2 year old, and ako messaged you to see if you were alright), I second Livid's suggestion.

Well, I again apologize for my crude actions, and for my immature appeal and responses yesterday. I didn't understand how so many people were disturbed/distressed, about what I said, and I didn't think that you would be so angry about it, I meant it as a joke.

Although he was very douchey and a huge prick on the forums in the previous appeal, I'm going to reserve judgement against him for the porn links as I myself have posted porn just to piss Mali off (although never that severe and never that straight up) so I think it's wrong we ban him permanently for that..
and he's not done much to break actual rules on VC to my knowledge.
I say give him a chance.

I'm not really sure when being an asshole became a perma ban level offense. Sure hes fucked up for sending porn links to an eleven year old but I know half the people on the server have done stuff just as bad.
Permanent ban seems extreme maybe a couple months for being an asshat to people reaching out to see if he was ok (and for using comic sans)

This. THIS is my main problem. The pushing. This is not the first time I've seen him harass/annoy people. But 13 different messages to a 13 year old girl showing clear discomfort? In several states, that is actually illegal. In the state of Washington, you can be charged with cyber harassment of a minor, and land your ass in jail for a minimum of 8 months. I don't think this should go unpunished- it's not fair to Mali. http://apps.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=28A.300.285 here's the link for proof, and no it's not limited to school. It's also illegal to do this in Nevada, North Carolina, Michigan, New York, California, Texas, and a few more. But the point is, this is wrong and immoral and I feel that I should share this..

I've been lurking your appeals and the responses. I can see you trying to be funny through edgy humor and it failing tremendously because behaving this way with your buddies might be funny but when you're actually throwing it at young girls it's reprehensible. I don't know if you're an adult but if you are it's about time you were told this behavior is extremely unbecoming. They obviously don't think you're funny, they think you're a freak.
You're the only person who truly knows what your intentions were when you did this so it's up to you to reflect on your actions, I don't believe it should be tolerated within our community.

Chipping in on this, in some parts of the world, this is illegal. Considering you could've been thrown in jail if people decided to take a more serious action, being banned is probably the best outcome you could've had here. I don't often ban people, and I was being kind to you originally with a 2 week temp ban, expecting you to realise what you'd done and see it was wrong. After your previous appeal and how you responded to Ako's PM, I don't believe you can see why you've been punished, based on how you continuously say it was a joke and claim you did nothing wrong in your last appeal. You've said before you didn't see people were disturbed, yet you had two staff members online telling you to stop, and many other players on the server at the time telling you to stop also. I agree with Jan, this should not be tolerated within the community. Building on what Livid said, reflect on what you've done, and re-appeal in 2 months time.

Not sure if I've been with VC for long enough for my opinion to count but here it is all the same. I personally think i have quite an open mind, I have friends that are shall we say more open with the ways of the world with their kids than I would be (my daughter is 13). However I would think even they, if they read this, would be thinking way past the banning and just wondering how big of a hole would be needed to bury him!
I don't care if it was said in humour, this sort of things does not belong here. We have a responsibility to the community, that if we allow minors in, we respect that fact and act accordingly. As I said before, we all have different views on how 'mature' a kids can handle things, specially with music and TV the way it is, but there are places that even adult to adult should think seriously before going there!
If it's not going to be a perm ban, then no less than 2 months would be my vote. A so hope his views change by then.

I'll be honest, I think it's arguable if you broke any server rules, but I DO think you did because you were being malicious and not just humorous, so I fully stand by Luis's decision. And honestly I would have considered defending you to some extent and granting your appeal... but you were acting like such a little piece of shit ingame, on discord, and in your appeal, that I actually had to upgrade your ban to permanent to wake you up. Like god damn could you be any more of a nuisance?
For the record: I don't care about sharing porn, I don't really care for anyone's personal threshold for what they consider obscene, and I don't even really care all that much about the idea that someone needs to be a certain age to view something (maturity is what is important). However it seems to me you were clearly going out of your way to harass someone, to an unusually dedicated degree, against their consent. Like fuck off, do something better with your time. Your first appeal and behavior on the forums, editing your signature, profile, your pm to me, it was all was atrocious. Not to mention your behavior towards Mali in the first place. God damn.
I'll talk to Luis, Livid, and the other Staff and we'll come up with a verdict on this appeal in the next day or so.

VillageCraft, taking the basic tenets of a fair legal system, has basic rights for anyone who has been banned and allows them the right to appeal, no matter their charges. The rules are listed here:
Basic rights of the person appealing:
1. You have the right to appeal a punishment levied against you, so long as you respect re-appeal limits.
2. You have the right to request information on your punishment, such as the staff's "Punishment Registry" entries relating to you, or any other basic information that allows you to understand your situation properly to write your appeal.
3. If you appeal in a reasonable time after your punishment, you have the right to demand evidence pertaining to your case.
Limits on re-appealing:
If your appeal is denied, staff may put a limit of up to 3 months before you can appeal again. If staff do not set a limit, you may appeal again after 2 weeks have passed. You can appeal sooner, and ignore the limit, if a staff member says it is okay to do so in your specific case. If you have never appealed, there is no limit on when you may make your first appeal.
As such, the offending player, ClenBo (username "_Call_Me_Master_") may not appeal for the maximum 3 months (up from 2) from the day the verdict was delivered.
