MP Motion to Start a Vote: DISCUSSION of the SimplePets Plugin
SimplePets Plugin
This motion has gained the necessary support to be brought to vote. The motion would call for the following:
Adding the Plugin SimplePets

Pet Plugin
The plugin SimplePets will be added to the server with the intent to bring an element of companionship that cannot be hurt. This can also allow another roleplay aspect to the game that many players enjoy.
Perks of SimplePets
-You will be able to have the pet of your choice, unlocking more options the higher VIP Level you are.
-You will be able to wear your pet as a hat
-You will be able to ride your pet
-You will be able to name your pet
Exceptions to SimplePets
-mobs that are too larger have been removed
-pets will not be allowed in other worlds, other than the Overworld, Nether, and End.
-pets that fly, flying will be disabled.
Pets will not be allowed:
-During CM run events in the Overworld, unless otherwise stated
-In worlds other than the Overworld, Nether, and End.
All of the pets have been sorted into the following levels:

-Chicken
-Cow
-Creeper
-Ocelot
-Pig
-Rabbit
-Sheep
-Skeleton
-Spider
-Wolf
-Zombie
$5 Donor
-Cat
-Dolphin
-Donkey
-Evoker
-Mule

-Trader Llama
-Vex
-Wandering Trader
-Witch
$10 Donor
-Bat
-Cod

I haven't laughed as hard in months as I did at the sight of the polar bear running on it's hind legs. I hope I can help bring this sight to the public 8)

I am fully in favour of this addition to the server! I just need to address something mentioned in the OP:
Pets will not be allowed:
-During PVP
I need to ask:
Why not?
Would this lead to a punishment if you start PVP with a pet around?
What if you have a pet while you get PVP attacked?
How do we control this?
How do staff enforce this?
Should this actually be limited?
I don't know exactly what the answer to any of these are, and I'm wondering if they should be allowed during PVP?

Most reasonable solutions to allow players to self regulate and agree to disable pets before pvp matches in arenas. In the outlands, I cant see them being much of a problem, there is no need to consider fairness in outside-of-arena pvp.

I like this solution, and in this case we could just remove mention of pvp from the text.

Yep! You have the VIP rank and everything, you essentially had someone else donate in your place. Whatever donor rank you are at is what perks you'd be getting :D

They should be since it's the OG VillageCraft world and not for example the CM World

*Technically* "dimension" and "world" are interchangeable in MC, but yeah, I'd say the Nether and the End count as extensions of the overworld.

-In worlds other than the Overworld, Nether, and End.

I say we give this another week, see if anyone wants to modify anything, then it can move to the staff approval phase

Technically we are already there, just waiting to see what people say there too I think.
