Title: Blacksmith
Post by: cjm721 on 16 September 2012, 11:15:10 PM
The blacksmith once again can repair your goods but now he also takes into effect enchantments.

Notes about how the price is configured:

1. Base price (1)
2. Add Durability lost times modifier
3. Add Set price per enchantment (Static amount)

(Side note if your item had 0 durability and no enchantments it would cost you 75% of the market price to repair it instead of buying a new one: i.e. its better to repair than buy new).

wow trying to fix my battle sword, and its charging me 8k to fix it....

might be worth trying for new enchants at that price

after all i can buy a sword for 550, and it only takes 10min to get lvl30.....

If you where repairing a near dead standard diamond sword it cost 75% of 825. Now the reason for the enchantment modifier is because without you should never lose that item and having it worth the same as a regular diamond sword is not right. Makes it balanced and increases the price of enchanted materials.

maybe lowering the prices a little for enchants? seems extremely pricy

If you want to do the math on enchantments and find out how much a level one enchantment improves the item. It is kinda astounding the numbers you will find. If anything on the prices I would be raising them as they are a bit under the curve, but at the same time cheaper in bulk.

Well, I have to say, this is a boon for my business, lol. I can sell a sword for 2k and make a massive profit when it would take 10k to repair the same sword from almost completely broken, lol. Thanks a bunch!

So don't right click him if you don't want it fixed? Wow, that was easy.

I would like to repair my damaged tools, but I am afraid the Blacksmith will overcharge me and take all of my money.

Getting one thing repaired will hardly cost ALL of your money.

Second of all, I edited your grammar.
