Hello Village Craft Community, my name is Robert Weldon and I am an entrepreneur living in the great city of Cleveland Ohio. You all have probably been wondering where Skippy is, and why i'm posting on his account. Let me explain. I own a company called Play world Media that is expected to go public the fourth quarter of 2018.

We are a recent startup, and have received around 2.5 million dollars in first round funding venture capital from a few big name organizations including JMI Equity, SoftBank Group, along with a couple small investments from local Cleveland companies. We employ independent creators to do what they do best, create. In exchange for a cut of their revenue, we provide artists, video creators, musicians, game developers, and more, with funds and opportunities to take them to the next level of success. We also are currently developing, or have developed relationships with multiple well known websites and media conglomerates (none of which will be named due to the unreleased status of Play World Media) to ensure the success and prosperity of our creators. Play World Media has a confirmed pool of 20 creators, with that number expected to increase to around 50 when we first launch. We have received hundreds of applications from creators hoping to join us, with that number expected to skyrocket during launch, your friend Skippy was one of the first to apply. Our analyst estimated Play World Media has an acceptance rate of 14%, so you can trust me when I say Skippy has an incredible amount of potential and talent. In fact, I personally encouraged him to apply when I acted as a juror on his trial. I could go on, but I'm sure you are all well versed with him.

This brings us to the second part of the post. During our meetings, which are still taking place, we pressured Skippy to keep his videos private until he has signed with us. This is so he can filter out some of the profanity, which is conservatively peppered throughout some of this videos for hyperbolic effect. If partnered with us, he would be pushed as a children's entertainer, something that we have already told many potential partners. That being said, we still encourage Skippy to be creatively independent. While doing research on Skippy, however, we discovered his long, unique background with the VillageCraft server and forum. after browsing the forum for a short amount of time, it is clear something needs to be done to stop the amount of profane, vile posts that seem to appear just a little to frequently. Below are just a few examples:

If one of my current or potential partners or investors discovers this website, it could put my entire company into Jeopardy. This type of behavior also lead Skippy to threaten another member of the VillageCraft community and accidentally dox himself, which is incredibly uncharacteristic of him. If Skippy signs the contract recognizing him as a Play World Media employee, and the expletives on this forum don't cease, we will contact one our larger media contacts that offered to pay FOR A LAWSUIT AGAINST THE OWNER OF VILLAGECRAFT. Please get back to me as soon as possible, by either a public response via a reply to this post or preferably a private message to this account, where I can give the owner further contact details. Hello friends.

I have been getting many messages about the videos on my channel, TheSkippyNetwork, no longer being view-able. I've decided to put forward this official statement to stop the circulating rumors, clear up any confusion, but most importantly to inform the community. Before I continue let me formally apologize to my fans and the Village Craft community for staying silent about this as long as I have. You guys are great and the reason I make content in the first place. Let's start from the beginning.

Two years ago me and fellow future SkippyNetwork employee RockyGames came up with the idea of creating Minecraft youtube gaming videos. This simple spark of an idea would eventually launch into TheSkippyNetwork, a brilliant network of content creators all sharing one platform to express creative and unique ideas, and one that Politico calls a "safe haven for thinkers".

Sorry -- i'm getting ahead of myself. Let us go back to that first channel, called SkippyPlayzMinecraft. DirtyDoesMC, and RockyGames (both employees of the network) were also created during this time. This was not my first youtube channel, but was the first channel i've ever posted a video on. The first video uploaded was a montage clip video of me in sky wars. I did not get many views but I was still incredibly happy with. Because of that video I discovered my creative outlet and passion for making Minecraft content. Unfortunately the videos are lost because of the channel being deleted in a freak accident. One "old" video of mine that remains is a Community Minister campaign video for CatGamer4 this was my first big editing project, and it still relatively holds up today.

Me, Dirty and Rocky were all helping each other out in each others videos. Eventually we came up with the idea of a shared network of sorts, where we could all come together and create content -Minecraft or not. This was a great idea because the network members could create their own solo videos,
but also could come to other network members for ideas, collaborations and help.

And there it is, a channel is born. Many of our videos quickly gained viral status and we found local journalists knocking on our doors and large news companies emailing us for interviews. If you look hard enough you can find some me and Rocky gave. We were to invite other content creators to the network. We were going to have a musician, another letsplayer and an animator. 3 videos were in the process of being produced. Then one day I woke up extra early to get some footage for a video I was producing myself. I was checking my email for the thumbnail that Rocky had made when all of a sudden I saw it. Another email. this one not from Rocky. Its better if you see it yourself.

I refused of course and sent them a letter back explaining that my use of their song fell under fair use. this is what I got back.

The next day a guy in a suit knocked on my front door and told me this lawsuit is real. Luckily for me my aunt is a lawyer and she will represent me for free, so I came covered on that end. She was the one who told me to private all of the videos until we get this resolved, I agreed with her and did that. Unfortunately the channel is my main source of income. Rocky and Dirty were incredibly generous to me and told me to keep the last paycheck from youtube. (Usually I split it with them 25% Rocky, 25% Dirty and 50%. I get a bigger share because I manage the channel and am the main editor for the videos). Back when Skippy was gaining attention I decided to drop out of school and quit my job peeling fruits and vegetables for a multinational fortune 500 company in order to pursue my youtube career. I AM NOT ASKING FOR DONATIONS OR FOR PITY. currently I have enough money saved in the bank to survive for another 4 months (apartment rent and food). I can also take out a loan if needed or take some credit card debt if thats what it comes too. Rocky and Dirty are doing fine finical wise. With Dirty having recently quit his job as a line cook at an Indian restaurant (he is now pursing a career as gynecologist and receiving specialized training). Rocky is still in school and works part time in a gym. Of course both of them also produce content for the network, which is not ending. Again, I would like to emphasize THIS IS NOT THE END OF THESKIPPYNETWORK AND I WILL FIGHT THE LAWSUIT.

Me and the network will continue to make content, even if its not as frequent. If when the channel comes back online we will upload it. I am not sure when that will be. It could be weeks, months, years, I dont know. I would like to personally thank each and every one of you for making this the best month of my life. The reason I do this is for you guys, the fans, the community and im so glad everyone liked the videos. No matter what happens during the trial, just know that the TheSkippyNetwork will never die.
